KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan desired cordial ties with the Islamic countries on the mediation of the state of Qatar, according to the office of acting ‘Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA)’ Prime Minister’s Political Aide Office on Friday.
The Prime Minister’s Political Aide Mawlavi Abdul Kabir on Thursday held a meeting with Qatar’s Ambassador to Afghanistan Saeed Bin Mubarak Al khyarin , the source wrote on its Twitter handle.
“On the mediation of Qatar, we want cordial ties with the Islamic world and other countries,” the source quoted Mawlavi Kabir as saying.
He said the acting Afghan government desired to expand ties with Qatar in economic, trade and other areas.
According to Mawlavi Kabeer, Afghanistan was bestowed with improved security at this time, 380 high ranking officials of the past government had returned to Afghanistan and live a normal life in the country but some sources had interpreted the situation opposite
Qatar’s envoy expressed his confidence over improved security and assured increase cooperation with Afghanistan in different areas.
