KABUL (Pajhwok): US President Joe Biden has described Afghanistan as a “God-forsaken place”, caught in multiple problems.
“A lot of you have been to Afghanistan. I’ve been to every part of it. It’s a God-forsaken place,” Biden said in a speech he delivered in San Diego on Friday.
The New York Post quoted the US leader as recalling his trip to Afghanistan in 2008 as part of a congressional team that got stuck in the snow.
Before leaving for Chicago, Biden also touted “bright spots” in the US economic situation, including low unemployment.
