KABUL (Pajhwok): Turkey has promised sustained efforts for the extension of the Ukraine grain deal, which expires in a fortnight.
At a meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Friday, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed continued focus on extending the agreement.
“It was decided to focus efforts on the extension of the deal in the near future," Erdogan said in a statement from his office.
He called for the immediate resumption of dialogue between Russia and Ukraine on ending their ongoing war.
