LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): A second cotton processing and oil producing factory has been established in southern Helmand province.
Ghulam Yahya Pashtoon, director of commerce and industry association, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the second factory started producing oil and cotton processing in the Bolan area of Lashkargah city on Friday.
Haji Mullah Abdul Jabar, owner of the factory, told Pajhwok: “I established this factory at a cost of 40 million afghanis and it is producing oil and processing cotton.”
He said the factory had the capacity to process five tons of cotton, oil, press cake and soap within one hour.
