Intelligence agents seize weapons in Kabul, Sar-i-Pul

KABUL (Pajhwok): The personnel of the General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI) have seized 36 weapons in northern Sar-i-Pul and Kabul provinces.

The directorate tweeted on Saturday its forces seized 12 pistols, 10 Kalashnikovs, a machine gun, an RPG grenade launcher and some ammunition in the 17^th police district of Kabul.

Without going into details, it said some weapons were confiscated in Sar-i-Pul province as well.

A video clip on the GDI website shows six Kalashnikovs, three machine guns, as many handguns, a walkie-talkie, binoculars and some ammunition recovered.
