KABUL (Pajhwok: The Ministry of Vice and Virtue says it has installed 400 loudspeakers in different areas of Kabul city for azaan recital simultaneously.
Mohammad Sadiq Akif, the minister’s spokesman, said 400 loudspeakers have been installed in the entire city of Kabul, from which azaan (call to the prayer) will be recited at the same time.
He tweeted that azaan was an important announcement for prayers and therefore the ministry wanted to inform people about the timing of prayers.
According to him, these loudspeakers have been installed in different areas of Kabul city.
