KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi and Pakistan’s Chargé d’Affaires Obaid ur Rehman Nizamani have conferred on problems of Afghan refugees in the neighbouring country.
At a meeting here on Saturday, the foreign minister told the diplomat the treatment of Pakistani police towards Afghans was unfair and provocative.
Muttaqi asked the Pakistani embassy to facilitate the issuance of visas to Afghan travellers and deal with the problem of delays in this regard.
In response, Nizamani promised to share the issue with embassy officials and other authorities concerned. He assured assuaging the concerns.
