GARDEZ (Pajhwok): A drug-manufacturing laboratory has been destroyed in the Zazai Aroub district of southeastern Paktia province, an official said on Thursday.
Police spokesman Munib Zadran told Pajhwok Afghan News the narcotics factory discovered and destroyed in Kata Sang area on Wednesday night.
Without going into details, he said seven people were arrested by the raiding party in connection with running the drug lab.

Some of the detainees hailed from other provinces, he said, adding the lab produced heptamin, heroin, shisha and other addictive substances.
