PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): The registration of Afghan citizens living in Pakistan has been extended, says the minister for state and frontier regions.
The exercise called Documentation Renewal and Information Verification Exercise (DRIVE) for undocumented Afghans will continue until the end of the year.
Minister Talha Mahmood said this in response to a lawmaker’s query during the question hour in the National Assembly.
The exercise would ensure compilation of complete data of registered and unregistered Afghan refugees, said Parliamentary Secretary for Overseas Pakistanis Syed Agha Rafiullah . . .
