Farah man gunned down, suspect detained

FARAH (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have shot dead an individual in the western Farah province on Thursday morning, police official.

Police chief Maulvi Abdul Zahir Khadem told Pajhwok Afghan News: “Unknown gunmen gunned down a man in limits of 4^th police district at around 6:00 am.”

He said security forces arrested a suspect in connection with the murder and currently was being interrogated.

But Qais, the cousin of the victim, said: “We have no enmity with anyone, my cousin went to the mosque in the morning, while two men opened fire at him and killed him on the spot.”
