KABUL (Pajhwok): The prices of Kazakh flour decreased and Indian sugar surged during the outgoing week in Kabul, market sources said on Saturday
The rates of other essential items remained unchanged, Zmarai Safi, head of the Food Traders Union, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
A 49-kilogram bag of Kazakh flour accounted for 2,300afs, down from last week’s rate of 2,350afs, he said, noting a rate cut in Kazakhstan.
But the price of a 49-kilogram sack of Indian sugar rose from 3,000afs to 3,100afs this week, the union leader added.
