KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi has asked local official in western Herat province to maintain cordial ties with the people in order to curb crimes and address their problems.

Muttaqi during his trip to Herat province met some civilian and security officials on Friday.

He linked the current Islamic government in the country as a result of firm and uninterrupted obedience of Mujahidin and called on all people to improve coordination and mutual respect.

He said it was due to the hard work of the security personnel who provided improved security to the people.

“If you want to have more achievements in the area of crime control and its elimination then keep in touch with your people and address their problems,” he said.

He termed Afghanistan a home for all Afghans and said the Islamic Emirate offered amnesty to everyone and they could benefit from this offer.
