Central bank to auction $16m on Wednesday

KABUL (Pajhwok): Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) announced on Tuesday it was auctioning 16 million dollars tomorrow to strengthen the Afghan currency.

The central bank tweeted it would inject $16 million to the market tomorrow (Wednesday, November 30) in the form of auction.

Meanwhile, the central bank asked commercial banks, exchange companies and monetary services to participate in the tender.

According to the bank, the winners of tender are obliged to settle their accounts immediately until the end of the day.
