MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): Currently 650,000 cubic meters of soil is being excavated from the Qush Tepa canal in northern Balkh province on a daily basis instead of 360,000 cubic meters planned earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Abdul Salam Hanafi said on Wednesday.
Hanafi, who inspected the QushTepa canal during a visit to Balkh province, said the project work’s speed had been doubled from 360,000 cubic meters excavation of soil per day to 650,000 cubic meters.
