Sar-i-Pul entrepreneurs receive cash aid

SAR-I-PUL (Pajhwok): A foreign organization has distributed 4.4 million afghanis among 199 entrepreneurs, including 161 women in northern Sar-i-Pul province.

Sayed Abdul Qadir Ayubi, director of commerce and industry, told Pajhwok that the aid was given to the entrepreneurs in Sar-i-Pul City by the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC).

He added 20,000 to 30,000 afghanis were distributed to each entrepreneur so they could buy raw materials and equipment they needed.

The beneficiaries the assistance would greatly help them to strengthen their business.

Zohra, one of the beneficiaries, said: “Today, every small entrepreneur received twenty to thirty thousand afghanis, the grant will strengthen small businesses and help them to increase their work and get more profit.”
