No airstrikes carried out in Afghanistan: Pakistan

KABUL (Pajhwok): Pakistan has rejected media report regarding airstrikes in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province on Tahreek Taliban Pakistan (TTP) hideouts.

Hasht-e-Subh Daily quoted sources as saying that Pakistan “bombed targets in Salala neighborhood in the vicinity of Gushta district” on Thursday morning.

The development comes amid an uptick in terrorist attacks across Pakistan. Earlier, Pakistan had said that it had the right to defend itself from terrorism.

Afghan acting government however, urged restraint and asked Pakistan to resolve all issue through talks.
