PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Two gunmen allegedly involved in ‘provocative acts’ against the government have been killed during an operation in northern Baghlan province, police said on Friday.
Baghlan police spokesman Maulvi Sher Ahmad Burhani told Pajhwok Afghan News that security forces conducted a joint operation in Khost district of the province and killed two ‘provocateurs’ in the area.
A resident of Khost district, on condition of anonymity, told Pajhwok that two persons, Pahlwan Yasin and Farid were killed in Tagab bazaar area of the district yesterday.
