KABUL (Pajhwok): A major humanitarian aid group said on Tuesday it would be resuming health and nutrition operations in Afghanistan.
CARE said it activities in the country would restart after obtaining assurances from the Ministry of Public Health that female staff would be able to work safely and unfettered.
CARE had halted operations in response to the December 24 decision by the caretaker government to ban all women from working for NGOs in Afghanistan.
