Chinese authorities asked to solve Afghan prisoners’ problems

KABUL (Pajhwok: Afghanistan acting ambassador in China Sayed Mohiuddin Sadat met with Afghan prisoners in Gansu province and asked relevant Chinese authorities to solve their problems.

The Afghan Embassy in China wrote on its Twitter page Sadat met the Afghan prisoners yesterday and listened to their problems and assured them of cooperation.

After meeting the prisoners, Sadat shared their problems and the embassy’s concerns with the foreign relations and prison officials of Gansu province and called for their solution.

The Afghan Embassy quoted the prison officials as saying they were attentive to the problems of prisoners and will resolve them as soon as possible.

However, the embassy did not say how many Afghans are imprisoned in China and what problems they face.
