2 alcohol production factories recovered, seized in Faryab

MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Security personnel in northwestern Faryab province have recovered and seized alcohol production factories.

Mullah Ikramuddin Sadaqat, deputy head of the Maimana City 2^nd Police District, said the two factories were recovered in the Tatar Khana and Yakah Bagh areas on Thursday evening.

He said 15 bags, 2 barrels of alcohol and 210 kilograms of raisin were recovered during the raid on the factories.

Two individuals had been arrested in connection to the alcohol production, he added.
