MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Security personnel in northwestern Faryab province have recovered and seized alcohol production factories.
Mullah Ikramuddin Sadaqat, deputy head of the Maimana City 2nd Police District, said the two factories were recovered in the Tatar Khana and Yakah Bagh areas on Thursday evening.
He said 15 bags, 2 barrels of alcohol and 210 kilograms of raisin were recovered during the raid on the factories.
Two individuals had been arrested in connection to the alcohol production, he added.
