PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Pakistan has agreed to play a three-match T20 series Afghanistan in the United Arab Emirates in March.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi told a media briefing in Lahore the series would be played in Sharjah in late March.
The event, whose revenue would be equally shared by Afghan and Pakistani cricket boards, is still subject to approval from the government in Islamabad.
Sethi said the series would be played immediately after the conclusion of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and before New Zealand’s tour of Pakistan in April.
The ACB offered to host Pakistan in the UAE after Australia walked out of a planned series of limited overs games against Afghanistan.
