KABUL (Pajhwok): The UN humanitarian aid chief has raised concerns over restrictions on women's education and work with national and international NGOs.
UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Martin Griffiths and the delegation he led met Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi here late on Tuesday.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) quoted Griffiths as voicing his satisfaction with the current security environment. As a result, he said, the UN had been able to conduct activities across the country.
The world body would provide about 4.6 billion dollars in humanitarian assistance to 28 million . . .
