PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Afghanistan, serving as a bridge between Central and South Asia, is vital to regional socio-economic development and connectivity, Pakistan says.
Minister for State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar stressed the need for stability in the neighbouring country at a meeting with Russia’s Special Representative for Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov in Islamabad late on Wednesday.
The two sides exchanged views on issues related to regional peace and security, the Foreign Office said in a statement after the meeting.
