KABUL (Pajhwok): Scores of Afghan refugees have staged a protest outside Downing Street in London against the British government’s plan to shift them to Yorkshire, says a media report.
The Guardian reported over 120 protestors warned of filing a legal challenged to the plan for moving them 200 miles from London to Yorkshire.
The Home Office, according to the newspaper, has given 40 families with 150 children in Kensington a week to leave the capital for another hotel in Leeds.
