KABUL (Pajhwok): Japanese Ambassador Takashi Okada has called on Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, an official said on Thursday.
Abdul Qahar Balkhi, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, tweeted that Muttaqi and Okada conferred on political issues of common interest.
They also exchanged views on humanitarian cooperation and the current situation in Afghanistan and the region.
They stressed the need for taking positive measures to ensure more constructive interaction between Afghanistan and the world at large.
