PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Five Afghan nationals have been detained with fake passports at the Peshawar airport, says the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The Afghans were arrested on Wednesday when they were to board an international flight for London on fake passports of the neighbouring country.
FIA sources identified the detainees as Usman, Naqeebullah, Ibrahim and others, a Pakistani newspaper reported on Thursday.
According to The Nation, the arrested Afghans were handed over to an anti-human trafficking cell for investigations. The FIA Immigration wing has lately intensified a crackdown on illegal travellers at the Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar.
