KABUL (Pajhwok): Former member of Wolesi Jirga Mursal Nabizada’s killer has been arrested, police official said on Friday.
Police Spokesman Khalid Zadran tweeted: “Mursal Nabizad and her bodyguard (Ismael) had been killed by another bodyguard (Maalyar).”
He said the killer, who was detained during a search operation, had confessed to his crime.
On January 14, unidentified gunmen shot dead the former member of Wolesi Jirga along with a bodyguard inside her house in the Ahmad Shah Baba mean area of Kabul.
A brother of the ex-MP was injured in the 12th police district.
