KABUL (Pajhwok): At least eight people have been killed and 288 houses damaged over the last three weeks in four different provinces, the State Ministry of Natural Disaster Management said on Sunday.
Shafiullah Rahimi, spokesman for the ministry, told Pajhwok Afghan News, natural disaster incidents happened in Badakhshan, Farah, Jawzjan and Badghis provinces over the past three weeks.
Eight people were killed, 90 houses destroyed 198 others partially damaged by avalanches, earthquake and storms, the spokesman said.
In addition, 150 domestic animals also died in the incidents, Rahimi added.
