Former Zabul governor survives fatal accident

KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Former Zabul Governor Bismillah Afghanmal’s vehicle had been ignited after spraying fuel in the Spin-Boldak district of southern Kandahar province, an official said on Sunday.

Governor Spokesperson Haji Zaid told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident happened on Saturday afternoon in the Spinboldak’s Zarah Manda area.

He said Afghanmal along with his brother and son were on their way to somewhere when fuel were sprayed on their vehicle and ignited.

He said Afghanmal, his son and brother did not suffered harm in the incident but their vehicle was burned to ashes.

“Individuals who have dispute with Afghanmal on the ownership of shops maybe involved in the incident. Four people had been arrested in this regard and investigation were underway,” he said.

The fact the Afghanmal won the case so his opponents may not let him go easily, he added.

Afghanmal on his facebook page wrote that he survived from a dangerous incident.
