JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Jalalabad City Municipality and common people have launched a joint cleanliness campaign of the provincial capital, an official said on Sunday.
The purpose of the cleanliness drive was to send a message to common people regarding hygiene and cleanliness so that people consider Jalalabad City as their own home and keep it clean, according to the official.
Municipality Spokesperson Bakhtullah Jan Murad told reporters at the start of the cleanliness drive that tonnes of garbage was collected from the city daily and sent to specific places.
