2 Pakistani policemen injured in overnight attack on police station

KABUL (Pajhwok): Two policemen were injured when heavily armed terrorists attacked Rohri check post in Pakistan’s Dera Ismail Khan District last night, according to state media on Monday.

According to police spokesman, the police team retaliated forcefully but the terrorists managed to escape under cover of darkness, Radio Pakistan reported.

Meanwhile, District Police Officer Abdul Rauf Babar Qaiserani, along with a Pakistan army team, reached the site and initiated an investigation into the incident.
