Afghan boxer Alekozai outpunches Canadian opponent

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan boxer Helmand Alekozai says he has pulled down his Canadian rival in the Brampton city of Ontario province.

Alekozai told Pajhwok Afghan News the bout took place in the Brampton city of Canada on Sunday when he outpunched Cody Kelly.

By beating Kelly, the pugilist said, he had made his way to the Canadian Championship. He is confident of playing more games in Canada.

Alekozai is the son of the late Jan Aqa Alkozai, former employee of Azadi Radio.
