KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): A 12-bed Tuberculosis (TB) diagnoses and treatment facility has been inaugurated in the Central Prison of southern Kandahar province, an official said on Friday.
Mullah Niamatullah Seraji, the prison affairs director, said the facility has been built with the efforts of the Ministry of Public Health and with the financial support of Medicines Sans Frontier (MSF) also known as Doctors without Borders.
Health Division Director of the hospital Syed Abdul Qahir Abid said the facility will provide quality treatment to TB patients.
