KABUL (Pajhwok): A four-day anti-polio vaccination campaign targeting 10 million children under five year age across Afghanistan kicked off on Monday, United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNCIEF) said.
UNICEF’s media official Kamal Shah Sayed told Pajhwok Afghan News the polio vaccination campaign kicked off in 34 provinces of the country today.
He said vitamin A drops would be given to children aged between six months and five years to boost their immunity.
