Mayor wants Kabul relations with Iranian cities strengthened

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Kabul mayor during a meeting with Iran’s deputy ambassador called for strengthening cooperation and relations between Kabul and major cities of Iran in various fields.

Kabul municipality tweeted: “Deputy ambassador of Iran Sayed Hassan Mutrazawi met with Kabul mayor Maulvi Abdul Rashid in order to share the experiences of Iran in development plans and urban management.”

Abdul Rashid said relations between Kabul city and Iran’s major cities should be strengthened and bilateral cooperation in technical and practical fields should be enhanced in order to take advantage of the opportunities at hand.

The Iran envoy promised cooperation in the implementation of Kabul municipality’s plans and said his country would increase the municipality’s capacity in waste management, urban beauty, infrastructure designs, urban culture, development of green areas and provide comprehensive assistance.
