Heavy rain, floods predicted in 21 provinces

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Water and Energy (MoWE) on Monday predicted heavy rain and floods in 21 provinces of the country.

The ministry said heavy rain and floods was expected from March 22 until 25 in Takhar, Baghlan, Samangan, Balkh, Jawzjan, Faryab, Badghis, Herat, Farah, Uruzgan, Logar, Maidan Wardak, Kabul, Khost, Paktia, Paktika, Panjsher, Kunar, and Laghman.

The source asked people to avoid any kind of travel near the major rivers to protect themselves and their children.
