PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Five security personnel, including a senior military officer, have been killed in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) official Brig Mustafa Kamal Barki was killed and seven soldiers were wounded during an encounter with terrorists in South Waziristan on Tuesday South Waziristan and Dera Ismail Khan on Tuesday, a statement from the military said.
Brig Barki came under attack while travelling from Angoor Ada to Wana in Khamrang area near the Durand Line, Dawn quoted police sources as saying. His driver was also in the attack.
