KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) says it is endeavouring to take charge of more Afghan diplomatic missions abroad.
The caretaker government has already dispatched diplomats to at least 14 countries, says IEA spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid.
TOLOnews quoted Mujahid as saying diplomats nominated by the previous government continued their activities in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Currently, IEA-appointed diplomats are based in Tehran, Istanbul, Islamabad, Dubai, Moscow, Beijing, Astana and some other countries.
