SAR-I-PUL (Pajhwok): A crystal meth drug factory has been destroyed after being discovered in northern Sar-i-Pul province, police said on Thursday.
Police spokesman Din Muhmmad Nazari told Pajhwok Afghan News that anti-narcotics police discovered and destroyed the ice making factory in Turkchin village near Sari Pul city.
He said in addition to 1800 kilograms of ephedra plant, other devices and facilities used in production of meth were also destroyed in the factory.
According to him, the owner of the factory has not been arrested yet, but he is wanted by the detection and security agencies . . .
