KABUL (Pajhwok): Humanitarian aid from Kazakhstan has arrived at the Hairatan port in northern Balkh province.
The 80-wagon assistance, which was handed over to the local administration at the port, included flour, cooking oil, legumes, milk and sugar.
Kazakh Ambassador Alim Khan Yasin Galdino promised: “We will continue delivering aid to the people of Afghanistan.”
Last year, the friendly Central Asian neighbour donated 42 tonnes of medicine and medical supplies to the Afghans in humanitarian aid.
