KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Nations says it has no plans to quit Afghanistan next month if the ban on its female Afghan staff is not lifted.
Earlier, a US media outlet reported the world body would leave the country in May if efforts to persuade the Islamic Emirate to let the Afghan women work for it fail. Commenting on the report, a UN spokesman said there had been either “misinterpretation or misunderstanding” of what officials had said on the issue.
