BAMYAN (Pajhwok): A teenager allegedly committed suicide after his father refused to allow him to go to Iran in central Bamyan province, an official said on Tuesday.
Bamyan police spokesman Mohammad Khawani Rasa identified the 18-year-old as Ali Ahmad, a resident of Folad Dara area of Bamyan city.
He added the 12th grade student took the extreme step after his father opposed his travelling to Iran.
Rasa said crime branch police had reached the area for investigation.
