PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): About 15 new historical sites have been registered in the wake of a fresh survey in northern Baghlan province.
With the registration of the new places, the number of ancient sites in the province has increased to 27, says an official.
Information and Culture Director Maulvi Mustafa Hashimi told Pajhwok Afghan News a survey by the department assessed 30 historical sites in the province recently.
As a result, he said, about 15 historical places were documented in Pul-i-Khumri, Jalga, Nahrain, Baghlan-i-Markazi, Dahna Ghori, Khanjan, Bano, Deh Salah and Pul-i-Hesar districts . . .
