GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): A Turkish charity has been constructing an orphanage to provide religious and modern education to children orphaned during the past wars in the Andar district of southern Ghazni province.
Local official say the orphanage named Shaheed Abu Yusuf is being built on two acres of land in Andar district and it will accommodate more than 600 students at a time.
Hafiz Omar, the spokesman for Ghazni governor, thanked Turkey and told Pajhwok Afghan News that Turkey and Afghanistan enjoyed religious and cultural commonalities and that Turkey had always tried to maintain good relations with the Afghan government . . .
