KABUL (Pajhwok): Over one thousand children suffering from the Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) had been referred to different Hospitals in capital Kabul over the past nine months, the Afghanistan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) said on Thursday.
On its Twitter handle, the ARCS said that 45 children suffering from ASD had been referred to three hospitals in Kabul.
A total 1,024 children had been referred to different Kabul Hospitals for treatment in the past nine months, the ARCS said.
The ARCS provide financial support for these types of operations.
