ATLANTA (Pajhwok): Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi has met a Pakistani political party’s delegation in Islamabad.
The Muttaqi-led delegation met Maulana Jamiat-i-Ulema Islam head Fazlur Rahman, Jamat-i-Islami chief Sirajul Haq, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Aimal Wali Khan of ANP and others.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Zia Ahmad Takal tweeted that the developments taking place after the Islamic Emirate’s takeover, mutual interests, trade, transit and economic ties were discussed.
He wrote participants of the meeting called for the government and people of the two countries to come closer and be able to travel freely.
