KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 17 people lost their lives and 61 more were wounded in natural disasters during the past two weeks in different provinces of the country.
Shafiullah Rahimi, a spokesman for the State Ministry of Natural Disaster Management, in a video clip shared on the ministry’s twitter handle, said natural disaster incidents happened in Maidan Wardak, Ghor, Kandahar, Paktia, Paktika, Khost, Ghazni, Nangarhar, Laghman and Kunar provinces in last 16 days.
According to his information, 17 people lost their lives, 61 more were wounded, more than 200 houses were destroyed partially or completely, affecting nearly 700 families . . .
