77 American Beretta pistols seized in Paktia

GARDEZ (Pajhwok): Security forces have seized 77 American beretta pistols in the Dand Patan district of southeastern Paktia province.

In a statement, Paktia police headquarters said that security forces seized 77 American Beretta pistols from smugglers who managed to escape. The security forces were trying to arrest the smugglers.

Without giving details, the police statement said the pistols were recovered from a passenger vehicle during a search.

About two months ago, a number such pistols were confiscated in the Mirzaka district.
