FARA CITY (Pajhwok): Work on the construction of Bakhshabad Dam's diversion tunnels has kicked off in Western Farah province on Saturday.
Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar, the acting PM’s economic affairs aide and Water and Energy Minister Mawlavi Abdul Latif Mansour inaugurated the project. Bakhsabad Dam has the capacity to irrigate 69,000 hectares of land.
Addressing the gathering Mullah Beradar said that Bakhsabad Dam was a vital project and all efforts would be made to complete the project.
